An immature bald eagle takes off in pursuit of a snow goose meal. Bald eagles develop the white head and tail of adulthood at 3 to 4 years of age. Large numbers of bald eagles winter in Missouri, and about 100 pairs nest here during summer. –Nappadol Paothong
