Springs of the Ozark Plateau

During times of drought, the cold springs of the Ozark Plateau provide an important source of water for animals that live nearby. Their flow also helps maintain sufficient downstream water levels for fish, floaters and anglers. Shown is the Greer Spring Branch in Oregon County.
