Ring-billed
An adult, ring-billed gull rests on a snag in the shallow water of Lake Taneycomo. Many ring-bills spend their winters here, fishing in open, ice free water along major rivers and below dams. At least 16 species of gulls either migrate through or winter in Missouri. -- Jim Rathert
