Annual Prospects Report

Kellogg Lake is a 25-acre Community Assistance Program lake cooperatively managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation and the City of Carthage. Kellogg Lake contains Largemouth bass, Channel catfish, and a variety of sunfish species which can provide good fishing. Channel catfish should continue to provide good fishing as they are stocked every year into the lake. Catch-and-Release for largemouth bass will be good.  Sunfish fishing should be good but very few fish over 6 inches will be caught.
