Willow Brook Lake (Maysville)

This 100-acre reservoir was constructed in 1996 as a water supply lake for the City of Maysville. The reservoir is surrounded by 265 acres of mainly old fields with some timber on the south side of the lake which provide a good setting for picnicking, hiking, and nature viewing. Since enrollment in the Community Assistance Program, the Missouri Conservation Department has added a parking lot, concrete boat ramp, disabled-user access privy, fishing dock, courtesy dock and bank fishing trail along the perimeter of the lake. Willow Brook Lake provides fishing opportunities for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish. Channel catfish are stocked periodically by the Conservation Department.
