JEFFERSON CITY Mo –The Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City invites the public to its free Eagle Adventure on Saturday, Jan. 28. Live eagle presentations will be held at the Nature Center at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Eagle activities and crafts will be available throughout the day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Nature Center staff and volunteers will also be available to help people spot wild eagles at nearby Binder Lake Park, MDC’s Marion Access on Hwy 179 and MDC’s Noren Access near the Missouri River bridge. MDC will provide a limited number of viewing scopes and binoculars at these locations. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather and to bring their own viewing scopes, binoculars and cameras. Maps to the viewing locations will be available at the Nature Center.
