MALDEN, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation announces a grant that will help bring a new archery range to the City of Malden. The City of Malden will receive the Conservation Department's Community Archery Grant.

Background documents related to the open agenda items are available for public viewing at Conservation Department Headquarters, Jefferson City, for eight calendar days prior to the meeting. Any person who would like to comment to the Commission about a specific agenda item must make a written request to the Director at least four calendar days prior to the meeting. The time period allotted for public comment and the number of speakers will be at the Commission’s discretion.

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is in the multi-year process of updating Conservation Area Management Plans and is seeking public input on how conservation areas are important to Missourians. A draft plan for the Ranacker Conservation Area (CA) is available for public review from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31.
