“Missouri is a great place to hunt and fish and that’s what we’re celebrating on National Hunting and Fishing Day,” Carden-Jessen said. “We hope parents will bring their children to Twin Pines and pass along our rich traditions of hunting and fishing to the next generation.”

On Sept. 21, the center will have open archery for ages six and up, a women’s gigging workshop from 3 to 9 p.m., children’s crafts including animal calls and open fishing and American Red Cross demonstrations.
