Join Jake Hindman to learn how to attract deer closer to your position by making the right calls at the right time. He will discuss the different vocalizations whitetails make and what those sounds communicate to other deer. Please sign up for one youth duck hunt only.This program and hunt is for youth, who has never hunted, and is interested in learning the skills needed to successfully hunt ducks. We will begin with a mandatory clinic on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5-7 p.m. to discuss safety, firearms, clothing, hunting techniques, and details of the hunt. All participants for the hunt must attend the mandatory clinic and be Hunter Education Certified to participate in the hunt on October 21st.

This is an event for youth to come and learn about waterfowl ID, Waterfowl hunting strategies, and Shotgun shooting. Participants will arrive that morning and begin to learn about waterfowl hunting, plus shotguns shooting.
That afternoon participants will get to go on a waterfowl hunt at a local private duck club. This hunt will allow them to use the knowledge and skills that they learned that morning.

Although this is not a hunter education course, this program reviews the best safety practices for youth and prepared them for hunting season.
