The spothanded crayfish (pictured above) is one of a number of creatures that might be found in a southeast Missouri stream. People can get a first-hand look at stream life at the free Missouri Department of Conservation program "Creek Life" Aug. 11. At this program, participants will wade a portion of Whitewater Creek near Millersville.
