Saturday, participants will receive presentations on regulations and various trap types. Trap preparation demo. Then, they will break out into smaller groups and set traps with mentors from the Missouri Trappers Association and MDC.
Sunday, participants will check their traplines and then go through the fur handling process including: skinning, fleshing, drying, and other steps of the fur handling process.
Be sure to dress for the weather as most of this clinic hands-on in the outdoors. Open to all ages but pre-registration is required.

Join us in person to learn about a variety of topics related to pond management including Pond Construction, Fish Stocking, Fisheries Management, Aquatic Plant Management, and Wildlife using your pond. MDC is hosting a pond management workshop for landowners that want to learn more about pond construction, fish stocking, and fish and aquatic plant management.
