Sign up for one or all dates in the series. Dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle and a sack lunch.

Watch the setting sun over the prairie, take a brisk walk on a wooded paved path to the Confluence viewing platform to watch the rising full moon over the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Meet at lot “L” about 41/2 miles from the entrance.

Reservations begin June 18.
Bring your camera or cellphone to capture the sun as it sets over fields of bright yellow sunflowers and prairies in lush shades of green. Your photos may be show-cased in a Visitor Center display later this month.
Meet at lot “K” about 3 1/2 miles from the front entrance.
