This program is for women only. Enjoy trout fishing and a fish fry at Roaring River State Park and Conservation Area. We will fish in our own privately stocked trout pool in the morning and then learn how to clean and fry trout for lunch. Make plans to join us for a great outdoor experience. Register and meet at the Nature Center. Transportation will be provided. Ages 12-adult. Girls 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult female. Welcome autumn as we hike the varied habitats at the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area. We’ll stop and take in the views and have lunch along the way. Meet at the nature center and carpool. Hike is seven miles and rated moderate to difficult. This program is for women only. Ages 14-adult. Girls ages 14-17 accompanied by an adult female are welcome. Pack a lunch, water, and dress for the weather. The trail is rocky and appropriate footwear is a must.
