This program will teach the fundamentals of archery and atlatl, including equipment, safety, stance, and shooting techniques. We begin in the classroom and then we will move to the static archery range for some live fire. All equipment will be provided.

Would you like to improve your wing shooting skills using non-toxic shot? Join us in learning the proper way to select the best ammunition and choke combination for different migratory and upland game bird hunting. We will also discuss how to judge distances and properly pattern your shotgun. Firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment will be provided however you are encouraged to bring your own shotgun and chokes if they are approved for use with nontoxic shot. This program teaches the fundamentals of shotgun shooting including types, safety, fit, stance, and shooting techniques. We will start in the classroom then move to the field for some live-fire.

This program teaches the basic fundamentals of shooting a rifle, including safety, actions, calibers, and shooting stance. We will start in the classroom then head out for some live-fire.

What do I need to do if I want to hunt deer in Missouri? If I harvest a deer what do I do next? These questions and more will be answered in this informative program on deer hunting. During this clinic we will cover the following topics: Biology of white-tail deer, what to do before the hunt, what to do during the hunt, and what to do after the hunt. Ages 6 and up, participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Families interested in learning how to shoot .22 rifles are invited to participate in an instructor led, live fire session learning safety and the proper techniques of shooting .22 rim fire rifles. Firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment will be provided.

This program includes handgun fundamentals, operation, safety, maintenance, and safe storage. We start with classroom instruction then move to the range for a live-fire session. Firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment are provided. You may bring your own handgun and ammunition to the live-fire session.

Date: Monday, October 7, 2019 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Location: August A Busch Shooting Range

Learn the steps necessary to process deer meat yourself. We will discuss the field dressing process and demonstrate how to skin and butcher a deer in simple easy steps with minimum equipment. You'll learn tips on how to make sure your venison is the best quality possible.
