Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center

This Skills Session will satisfy Part Two of the Missouri Hunter Education requirements. You must complete Part One, the Knowledge Portion, to attend the Skills Session. You may complete the Knowledge Portion either online, self-study student manual, or attend a Classroom Session. Bring your Skills Session qualifier certificate from the online course or the student manual with the review questions on pages 70-74 completed to be admitted into the Skills Session. Proof of age is required for all students attending the Skills Session. Students ages 15 and under must have an adult present.

Hunter Education Skills Session

Southwest Missouri offers lots of opportunities to fish and enjoy the outdoors. This river fishing clinic will focus on fishing for bass species in our local waterways! We will talk about locations to fish, strategies, equipment, rules and regulations, and how to catch different species of bass. We will meet at Shoal Creek Conservation Center and after the classroom portion go down to shoal creek and fish. All students 16 and older must have a valid fishing license. All equipment will be provided buy you may bring your own but registration is required!
