Work In Progress: Cato Structure

The coffer dam (Oct. 23, Cato Structure post) has been completed and withstood the October rains. The contractors are currently working around the old water control structure. The size and scale of the cut is impressive (see image and compare the size of the excavator and person). Once the new structure arrives they will replace the old one.

Things are continuing to move forward. This is just one component that will be helpful next year and in the years to come.
