Accessible Outdoors
Making conservation areas more accessible to more Missourians
MDC is working to remove barriers that prevent people with disabilities from enjoying the outdoors. Throughout the state, construction of new facilities and renovations at older facilities are providing access to Conservation Department areas, buildings and shooting ranges. It’s a long-term effort, but with the help of a citizens' accessibility-advisory council and continuing training for our staff, we’re making progress.
MDC cannot guarantee accessibility at any particular site or MDC property, but the search menu below helps you find conservation areas that have accessible facilities for people with disabilities. Just pick the area, region or county you are interested in to pull up data from our online atlas.
