Permit and Stamp Requirements
To pursue, take, possess and transport teal in Missouri, a hunter must possess and carry the following, unless exempt:
- a Missouri permit to hunt small game (Missouri residents age 16 through 64; Nonresidents age 16 and older)
- Missouri Migratory Bird Hunting Permit (Residents and nonresidents age 16 and older)
- Every teal hunter age 16 and old over is required to have a Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation stamp
To be valid, the federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp must be signed in ink across the face. The stamps are available for $15 at U.S. Post Offices and selected permit vendors.
