Deer Sighting hours
- Deer Sight-in hours: 19 October to November 11, 2011 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Closed Monday, Tuesday, all state and federal holidays.
- Hours are subject to change prior to deer season. Please call for updated hours.
Location
In Blue Springs at the intersection of I-70 and Highway 7 (exit #20), go north on Highway 7 for approximately 4 miles to Highway FF (old Truman Rd.). Turn east on Highway FF and follow it for another 2 miles. The range is on the right.
Range Fees
- Rifle: $3 per hour per booth. First hour paid in advance. Remainder at checkout. Twenty-point, covered firing range with target sockets at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Bench and rest seat provided for shooters. Note: Shooters must bring their own required hearing and eye protection.
- Pistol: $3 per hour per booth. First hour paid in advance. Remainder at checkout. Twenty-point, covered firing range with target sockets at 7, 15, and 25 yards. Bench is provided for shooters. Note: Shooters must bring their own required hearing and eye protection.
- Trap and skeet ranges: $3 per person per round (25 birds). No charge to youth groups (age 18 and under) for educational shooting.
- Training/meeting room: $20 per hour per permit. Facility classroom seats 75 people, available for group use on days closed to the public. Paper targets and holders provided public. Paper targets and holders provided.
Group Use Information
The Lake City Range is available for group use at times that we are not open for Public Shooting by prior arrangement only. A minimum 3 week ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required! Special Fees Apply. CALL (816) 249-3194. Call for availability.
Hunter Education Information:
CLASSES ARE FILLING UP QUICKLY, CALL EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT! The Missouri Hunter Education classes are taught here on the second Saturday of each month. Check the Hunter Education Schedule for a class or call 816-655-6250 Ext. 0 to register.
