This 100-acre area in Jefferson City features a visitor center with exhibits and live-animal displays, special events, trails, demonstrations, and diverse natural habitats.
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Closed Sunday, Monday, and all State Holidays.
- 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily when area is open
- Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and all state holidays on Mondays

Programs and events
