Tens of thousands of Stream Team members turn in activity reports each year so their activities can be recorded and tracked. Awards for Stream Team activities in Awareness, Leadership and Stewardship for both youths and adults are based on these reports. It is very difficult to choose only six award recipients from nearly three thousand teams!
The awards are presented to the winning Stream Teams at the annual Meramec River Watershed Picnic at Meramec State Park. This year the event will be held on July 23, 2005. The award recipients for the 2005 picnic are being honored for their efforts in 2004. They are as follows:
