MDC offers woodland-management workshop in Platte County

WESTON Mo -- The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a forest management workshop 9 a.m. to noon on March 17 at a private farm near Weston. Timber sales and managing woodlands to boost wildlife such as white-tail deer will be discussed. The workshop will be especially valuable to those managing woodlands in the Missouri River bluffs areas.
