COLUMBIA Mo – Discover Nature at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) “Day with Wildlife” on Sunday, May 15, from 1-5 p.m. at Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area southwest of Columbia. The event is free and open to everyone.

A Day with Wildlife will include a chance to see birds of prey, snakes, turtles, fish and wetland birds. Attendees can also try bowfishing and take a shot at clay birds. Learn about bears. See a sawmill in action. Watch how MDC staff use rocket nets to capture wildlife. Take a drive around a wetland. Bring binoculars and cameras. Bring fishing poles and permits to cast a line.
