Staying safe around firearms requires the appropriate level of knowledge and skill combined with a positive attitude. Join our certified firearms instructors as we explore the fun of shooting in a safe and controlled environment. This course will cover all major types of firearms and will include live fire. Hunting squirrels is a time honored tradition and rite of passage for many youths. It is also a great way to spend time as a family and provide meat for the table. Join our team of experienced hunters as we teach you everything you need to know to find success hunting squirrels. We’ll talk about regulations, equipment, how to find squirrels, and what to do if you take a few. This class does involve an actual hunting experience, so all participants must meet any legal requirements for hunting. You may register at 816-891-9941

Reloading cartridges is a great way to enjoy your firearms even after the season is over. Whether your goals include squeezing out additional accuracy or shooting more for less money, this class will give you the foundation needed to start making safe cartridges right away. We will discuss how to easily spot and identify a variety of birds. You will learn some fun facts about Missouri's unique fall and winter species, and you’ll have some informative take-home material to aid you in discovering more of what the Missouri outdoors has to offer.
