Controlling Conflicts with Urban Canada Geese in Missouri

Before any activity is conducted that involves the handling of resident Canada geese eggs or nests you must register with United States Fish and Wildlife Services at https://epermits.fws.gov/eRCGR/geSI.aspx.

A state permit must be obtained before any activity is conducted that involves the lethal control of resident Canada geese. This step may be taken when other techniques have not been successful and where local communities formally support and pay for removal and processing. Please review information in above links before applying for lethal control permit. Contact a Missouri Department of Conservation office near you if you have questions about permits or need further information about Canada geese.
