Deer Cam

What's the best way to learn about an animal's behavior?

Jane Goodall, the world's foremost chimpanzee authority, knows the answer to that question--"Live with it." But most scientists can't spend their lives eating, sleeping, drinking and traveling with the subjects of their research.

The solution? Send in a video camera. A team of Missouri scientists, including two MDC wildlife biologists, has done just that. After mounting two small cameras on a captive deer, they've collected footage that gives them insight into a deer's habits and survival choices.
