Foresters and workshops

From funding, technical assistance and fire-fighting equipment to recognition for outstanding care of public trees, the Department of Conservation is here to help you plan, protect and improve your community’s forests.

MDC foresters throughout the state are available to help your town maintain healthy trees, remove and replace old, infested or diseased trees, select the right trees for your streets and parks and reduce damage from ice storms.

Visit the Grow Native! web site for information on native trees and their care, and don’t forget to check the Department’s workshop calendar for training and education on community forestry topics and issues.
