Paddlefish

Paddlefish

Because dams have blocked paddlefish spawning migrations and flooded its spawning grounds, the Department maintains paddlefish populations in Table Rock, Truman and Lake of the Ozarks with hatchery-produced fingerlings. Our goal is to manage paddlefish as a trophy sport fishery. Use this section to learn about paddlefish and how we manage them, including details on where to snag, how to snag and weekly snagging reports during paddlefish season.
