Hands-on experiences in nature can help students become life-long conservationists. Our Discover Nature Schools program gives you the tools to inspire Missouri students in grades K-12.

Each exciting, full-color Discover Nature Schools instructional unit meets Missouri grade-level expectations and includes a teacher guide.
Teacher training and funding for equipment help you keep students engaged and learning.
To launch a Discover Nature Schools program in your school or class, contact your local education consultant. He or she can introduce you to the units, register you for training and help you get started.

Grades K-2 Instructional Unit

Nature Unfolds includes a student book titled See How the Turkey Grows, a science notebook, and teacher guide. Together they help K-2 students learn about life cycles, basic needs of plants and animals, and seasons and weather.

Grades 3-5 Instructional Unit

Including a student book, science notebook, and teacher guide, Nature Unleashed helps elementary students learn about Missouri’s ponds, forests and prairies.

Grades 6-8 Instructional Unit

Including a student book, science notebook, and teacher guide, Conserving Missouri’s Aquatic Ecosystems helps middle-school students learn about the role of water in an ecosystem.

Grades 9-12 Instructional Unit

Including a student book, science notebook, and teacher guide, our Nature Unbound Instructional Unit helps high school students understand the impact of ecology on Missouri and the world.
