Holly Ridge
A natural stand of American holly, a beech-tulip poplar-alder forest and a number of other rare and interesting plants in moist, sandy draws in Crowleys Ridge Section of the Mississippi Lowlands Natural Division. Several small springs and spring runs are found here, one containing a state-endangered fish, the goldstripe darter. Most of the area is covered by oak-hickory forest.
