Hidden Valley
Upland forest on deep loess soils (Knox silt loam) and rugged hills in the Western Section of the Glaciated Plains Natural Division. Common overstory trees include shagbark hickory, sugar maple, basswood, hackberry and northern red, white and chinquapin oak. A small stream runs through the area. An overlook platform in the interior of this natural area gives visitors a panoramic view of the area's unusual topography.
