Cardareva Bluff

An outstanding, west-facing dolomite bluff rising about 550 feet above the Current River and associated plants, animals, natural communities and geological features in the Lower Ozarks Section of the Ozark Natural Division. Cardareva is one of Missouri's highest and steepest bluffs. The natural area includes the shoreline and gravel bars of the Current River, backwater sloughs, floodplain forest, upland forest, dolomite cliffs, dolomite glades and talus slopes.

GPS east most tip of NA where old two track enters NA. Current River access by canoe best.
