Bur-Reed Slough

A small natural marsh in the Upper Mississippi Section of the Big Rivers Natural Division with giant bur-reed, great bulrush and associated marsh plants. The marsh is used by a variety of birds, including American and least bitterns, great blue herons and king rails.
