Feed your wild-game appetite with this tempting venison-bacon appetizer.
- 1 bottle Italian salad dressing
- 1 pound venison steak, tenderized
- 10 ounces bacon
Jalapeño peppers or water chestnuts
Cut venison in thin, 1-inch-by-3-inch strips. Marinate in salad dressing for 6-12 hours. Remove venison strips from marinade and roll around a chestnut or pepper, then with a bacon slice cut in half on outside. Secure with a toothpick. Grill or broil 10-12 minutes or until done.
