“I am Conservation”

Kim Lyda of Macon is passionate about being outdoors and is an avid hunter. “Even if I am not successful with a hunt,” said Lyda, “it is just nice being out in the woods enjoying nature.” Lyda said right after posing for this picture: “I found a spot to sit, and before long, a single doe came out. I needed for her to come in about 30 more yards before I could take a shot. She walked toward me and then turned back west. But, that’s OK, maybe next time.” —Photo by David Stonner
