Judy Allmon has coordinated the Missouri Department of Conservation's Grow Native! program more than two years. She and her husband, Arlen, are native plant enthusiasts who enjoy native landscaping on their 20-acre property near Russellville.

contributor Tom Cwynar has served as editor of the Conservationist for more than five years. He often writes about fishing, a sport that he says helps empty his head and fill his stomach. He's based in Jefferson City. His less predatory pursuits include golfing and canoeing.

Her professional interests include surveying and researching rare and endangered mammals. Jackie lives in Boonville with her husband, Matt. She enjoys drawing, trapping canoeing and camping.
