contributor image Loring Bullard is Executive Director of the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks, a citizen-based advisory group established to protect the sources of public drinking water in the Springfield-Greene County region.
contributor image Carol Davit hails from Gray Summit, but now lives between the Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountains in Roanoke, Virginia. A former Conservation Department employee, she continues to write about plants and other aspects of the natural world and enjoys hiking and birding in her new stomping ground.
contributor image Rob Lawrence has been the forest entomologist for the Conservation Department for five years. Previously he worked with forest insects in Michigan, Maine and Alaska. He enjoys woodworking, and he and his wife, Martha, together enjoy gardening and studying the fascinating behavior of insects.
contributor image Jim Low’s interest in the Missouri River began only a few years ago, but it has become a consuming passion. Thoughts about camping, fishing and hunting on the river fill his dreams and daydreams. He hopes one day to earn the title “River Rat.”
contributor image Bruce Moltzan, based in Columbia, is a Conservation Department forest pathologist. He provides forest management and diagnostic services that benefit both public and private lands. He says his job has many rewards, including frequent contact with edible mushrooms. He and his wife, Kristi, have two children, Charvel and Amanda.
contributor image Silviculturist Keith Moser has worked in forestry research for the Conservation Department since the fall of 2000. Before that, he was the forestry research scientist for Tall Timbers Research Station in Tallahassee, Florida. Keith lives outside of Rocheport with his wife, Cynthia, and their sons, Gray and Lane.
