MDC St. Louis Wildlife Regional Supervisor John Vogel holds the near-record non-typical deer skull rack found March 13 on the August A. Busch Conservation Area in St. Charles shortly after he and other biologists examined it. MDC officials estimate the antlers could be among the top 5 largest non-typical found in Missouri history. The shed hunter who discovered the deer skull rack obtained a disposition from MDC to legally keep it.
