Catch Missouri’s Youth Fall Hunting Seasons

Oct 09, 2007

Giving more young Missourians a chance to enjoy the hunting experience is a key goal of the youth hunting seasons that occur later this month. Whether it’s for deer, quail or pheasant, or waterfowl, late October offers lots of opportunities.

Youth portion of deer firearms season: Oct. 27-28, 2007

Youth-only quail and pheasant season: Oct. 27-28, 2007

Youth waterfowl seasons: Oct. 20-21 in north zone, Oct. 27-28 in middle zone and Nov. 17-18 in south zone

You can see more information on page 5 of the 2007-2008 Waterfowl Digest.

You can also check out various special hunting programs and events related to youth hunting in general on our calendar.

If you’re an experienced hunter, help pass on your outdoor heritage this fall by making your family and friends aware of these special youth hunting season opportunities.
