Duck Creek Renovation

Sep 14, 2009

Duck Creek is one of the oldest managed wetland areas that has a long history in providing waterfowl habitat and hunting opportunity. It also provides excellent fishing opportunity in Pool 1.

Over the last 50 years we've learned a lot about wetland systems and how plants and animals respond to certain condtions. Public use has benefited from the management of these natural resources. The Duck Creek renovation effort will ensure that these opportunities and benefits can be sustained in the future.

Below is a map of Duck Creek and various areas that will be focused on during the renovation work few years.
