Lewis and Clark. |
| Not only is there an outdoors wetlands at the Discovery Center,
but an indoor marsh as well. |

What makes the facility different from a nature center is the
interactive approach to conservation education. Youngsters who
visit will participate in one of six workshops, studying the urban
watershed, building birdhouses, developing art projects, learning
bird watching, the usage of backyard plantings or better understanding
hunting and fishing ethics. |
