Regulations Committee Agenda

The following items will be on the agenda when the Regulations Committee meets at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in the Auditorium at Department Headquarters:

  • 8:30 a.m. Mr. Jerry Rosslan

Purpose: To share his thoughts and recommendations regarding timing of various portions of the fall firearms deer season.

  • 9:00 a.m. Mr. Steve Wolk, Wounded Warriors

Purpose: To request reduced- or no-cost permits for Purple Heart recipients participating in hunting programs sponsored by the Wounded Warriors program.

  • Report from the Urban Deer Task Force – Deb Burns/Wildlife Division
  • Consideration of a recommendation to amend rules pertaining to season dates and limits for all portions of the 2012-2013 deer hunting season – Jason Sumners/Resource Science Division.
  • Other business, if any.
