Finding your Conservation Number

On your Heritage Card

Look for your nine-digit conservation or hunter ID number on the back of your Heritage card, shown here circled in red.

On your permit slip

Look for your nine-digit conservation or hunter ID number at the top of your permit slip, shown here circled in red.

Your Conservation or Hunter ID number is ...

• Used to track your permits

• Unique. You should have only one conservation or hunter ID number in your lifetime.
• Not the same as your Heritage Card number, which is found on the front of your Heritage card.
• Not the same as your Hunter Education number
